Owl Rice Cakes

Supplies:

Plates

Ingredients:

Rice cakes

Cheerios

Bananas

Blueberries

Peanut butter

Apples

Cantaloupe

Instructions:

Spread a layer of peanut butter on a rice cake.

Place two round bananas slices at the top of the rice cake for the eyes.

Place two blueberries on top of the bananas.

Add two apple slices on the side of the rice cake for the wings.

Cut a slice of cantaloupe into a triangle and place below the bananas for the beak.

Place a few cheerios in between the wings for the body, like feathers.

Pumpkin Oat Cookies

Supplies:

Baking sheet and pan

Bowl

Cooking spoon

Ingredients:

2 ½ cups rolled oats

1 cup pumpkin puree (canned pumpkin works as a time-saver)

3 tbsp Maple syrup (you can also use coconut sugar or agave)

Optional: 1 tsp cinnamon

Optional: ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Place parchment paper on a baking pan and set aside.

Mix the rolled oats, pumpkin puree, and maple syrup in a bowl. Add cinnamon and chocolate chips if desired.

Create roughly 12 cookie shapes using your hands.

Place cookies on the parchment paper and bake for 10 minutes.

Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, and enjoy!

Caramel Apple Bites

Supplies:

Toothpicks

Plates

Baking sheet and pan

Ingredients:

Apples

Pretzels

Rolo candy

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.

Place parchment paper on a baking pan.

Lay out pretzels on parchment paper and place a Rolo candy on each pretzel.

Put in the oven for roughly 3 minutes until the candy softens.

Cut the apples into small pieces.

Stick a toothpick into each apple and push into one of the Rolo pretzels.

Do this for all the other Rolo pretzels and enjoy!

Spider Sandwich

Supplies:

Plates

Ingredients:

Bread (whole wheat for a healthier snack)

Chocolate chips

Pretzel sticks

Round cup

Peanut butter & jelly (or an alternative sandwich filling of your choice)

Instructions:

Spread the sandwich filling onto two slices of bread and make a sandwich.

Use the round cup to cut a circle out of the sandwich.

Stick four pretzel sticks into each side of the sandwich for the legs.

Place two chocolate chips on the sandwich for the eyes and enjoy!

Candy Apple Bar

Supplies:

Lollipop sticks

Small bowls/cups

One bigger bowl

Cooking pot

Ingredients:

Apples

Caramel

Milk (optional)

Toppings (Can be anything! Marshmallows, chocolate chips, walnuts, sprinkles, etc)

Instructions:

Put toppings in small bowls or cups and set aside.

Place the caramel in the cooking pot and melt over medium heat, stirring frequently.

If the caramel is too thick, add some milk (make sure not to add too much as the caramel won’t be able to stick to the apples!)

Once melted, pour the caramel into the bigger bowl.

Cut the apples into slices of 6 and stick a lollipop stick into each slice.

Set up your candy apple bar and you’re ready to eat! Dip the apples into the caramel and dip into the toppings.

Have fun and enjoy!
